Web Accessibility Audit

Our recent web accessibility audit focused on evaluating the compliance of our website with WCAG 2.2 guidelines, with a particular emphasis on keyboard navigation, alternative text, and color contrast. This audit aimed to ensure that our website is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, in line with best practices and industry standards.

To conduct this audit, we employed a comprehensive approach that combined automated tools, manual testing, and user feedback. Automated tools helped identify common accessibility issues quickly, while manual testing allowed us to validate these findings and delve deeper into potential barriers. User testing involved individuals with diverse disabilities to gain valuable insights into their user experience and uncover specific accessibility challenges.

Our audit uncovered a range of accessibility issues categorized by severity. Critical issues included missing alternative text for images, unlabeled form fields, and navigation barriers for keyboard users. Major findings comprised color contrast issues, inaccessible dropdown menus, and lack of focus indicators, while minor issues included inconsistent heading structures and navigation patterns.

Based on our findings, we have provided actionable recommendations to address each accessibility issue effectively. Critical issues were prioritized for immediate resolution, with guidance on adding alternative text, implementing proper form labels, and improving keyboard accessibility. Major issues were tackled through color adjustments, enhanced focus states, and redesigned navigation elements. Minor issues were also addressed to ensure a cohesive and accessible user experience.
